ASMACS Group, an ISO 9001-2015 accredited company, is urgently seeking candidates for positions in its Ship Repairing Division. We are currently in the process of shortlisting applicants between June 11th and June 15th, 2025, with online interviews scheduled shortly thereafter.
Positions Available:
- Hull Inspector
- Mechanical Inspector (Workshop)
- Electrical Inspector
We welcome fresh graduates and individuals with prior relevant experience to apply for the available roles. Job location is Port Blair, with competitive compensation and benefits.
Hull Inspector:
Candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Naval Architecture Engineering, with 1-2 years of experience in a dockyard or ship repair yard, and proficiency in painting and welding processes. Alternatively, a Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Naval Architecture Engineering with 1-2 years of experience is acceptable. Ex-servicemen (Artificers) in the relevant trade are also eligible for this position.
Mechanical Inspector:
We are seeking an Engineering Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, with 1-2 years of experience in a dockyard or ship repair yard and a good understanding of workshop technology. Ex-servicemen (Artificers) in the relevant trade are also welcome to apply. A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1-2 years of experience in a similar setting will also be considered.
Electrical Inspector:
Candidates with an Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with 1-2 years of experience in a dockyard or ship repair yard and a solid understanding of electrical workshop technicalities, are encouraged to apply. Ex-servicemen (Artificers) in the relevant trade are eligible. Alternatively, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1-2 years of experience in a workshop setting will be considered.
Salary and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: INR 25,000 to INR 30,000
- Accommodation and flight tickets will be provided by the company once a year.
- Contract Duration: 1 year (extension possible for 3 months).
- Both experienced candidates (1-2 years) and freshers (those who graduated with a Diploma in 2017 or B.Tech in 2019) are encouraged to apply.
